How to Play:
- Purchase a Pint for a Putt Upgrade: For an additional $1 (on select beers), upgrade your schooner to a pint. This upgrade grants you one entry into the “PINT FOR A PUTT” draw for that day’s event.
- Enter the Draw: Your valid “PINT FOR A PUTT” receipt will serve as your entry. Keep it safe!
- Listen for Your Name: Throughout the event (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM), one name will be drawn from all entries every half hour.
- Take Your Shot: If your name is drawn, you’ll be invited to the designated putting area to present your valid receipt and take one attempt to putt a golf ball 50 feet into the hole.
- Hole-in-One Wins the Cash! If your ball successfully goes into the hole on your single attempt, you win the advertised jackpot!

Please note: Draw times are approximate and may vary slightly. Participants must be present when their name is called. If the drawn participant is not present or cannot be identified, another name will be drawn.

The jackpot will continue to grow by $50 each week if no one achieves a hole-in-one, up to a maximum of $2000. Once the jackpot is won, it will reset to $250 for the following week’s event.
PINT FOR A PUTT – Rules & Terms and Conditions
By participating in the “PINT FOR A PUTT” event (“the Event”), participants agree to be bound by these Rules, Terms and Conditions.
- Promoter: The promoter of this Event is Chinderah Tavern, located at [Insert Full Address of Chinderah Tavern Here, e.g., 100 Main St, Chinderah NSW 2487].
- Event Period: The Event commences on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, and will run weekly on Thursdays between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM AEST, until further notice. Chinderah Tavern reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Event at any time, with reasonable notice provided where possible.
- Eligibility: 3.1. Participation is open to individuals aged 18 years and over who are legally permitted to consume alcohol in New South Wales, Australia. 3.2. Participants must be present at Chinderah Tavern during the Event times and at the time of the draw to be eligible to take a shot. 3.3. Employees of Chinderah Tavern, their immediate families, and any associated agencies are not eligible to participate. 3.4. Chinderah Tavern reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual deemed to be intoxicated, disruptive, or in violation of these terms and conditions or venue policies.
- How to Enter the Draw: 4.1. To gain one entry into the “PINT FOR A PUTT” draw, participants must purchase a “PINT FOR A PUTT” upgrade for $1 in conjunction with a schooner of a selected beer. The selected beers will be clearly advertised at the bar. 4.2. Each $1 upgrade provides one (1) entry into the draw for that specific Event day. 4.3. Participants may purchase multiple “PINT FOR A PUTT” upgrades, with each purchase providing an additional entry into the draw. There is no limit to the number of entries an individual can accumulate, but each entry corresponds to one eligible “PINT FOR A PUTT” upgrade purchase. 4.4. Upon purchasing the upgrade, participants will receive a unique entry ticket or their receipt will be marked as an entry. This ticket/receipt must be placed into the designated draw barrel/container. 4.5. Entries are valid only for the Event day on which they are purchased. All entries will be removed from the draw at the conclusion of each Event day.
- The Draw and Putt Challenge: 5.1. There will be four (4) draws conducted throughout the Event, approximately every half hour, at 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM, and 4:30 PM. 5.2. For each draw, one (1) name/entry will be randomly selected from all valid entries. 5.3. The drawn participant’s name will be announced over the venue’s public address system. The participant must present their valid matching entry ticket/receipt to the Event supervisor within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 60 seconds) after their name is called. 5.4. If the drawn participant is not present or cannot be identified, another name will be drawn until a present and eligible participant is found. 5.5. The selected participant will then proceed to the designated putting area. 5.6. The putting challenge will take place at a designated area within Chinderah Tavern, as determined by the Event supervisor. 5.7. Participants will be provided with a golf ball and a putter by the Event supervisor. Personal golf equipment is not permitted. 5.8. The distance of the putt is approximately 50 feet. The exact start and end points will be clearly marked. 5.9. Each selected participant receives one (1) attempt at the 50-foot putt challenge. 5.10. A “hole-in-one” is defined as the golf ball entering and coming to rest entirely within the designated hole on a single continuous stroke, without external interference. 5.11. In the event of a dispute regarding a successful putt, the decision of the Chinderah Tavern management and/or Event supervisor is final. Video recording may be used to verify successful attempts.
- The Jackpot Prize: 6.1. The jackpot prize starts at $250 AUD. 6.2. If no participant achieves a hole-in-one during a given Event day (across all four draws), the jackpot will increase by $50 AUD for the following week’s Event. 6.3. The jackpot has a maximum value of $2000 AUD. Once the jackpot reaches $2000 AUD, it will remain at $2000 AUD until won. 6.4. The jackpot is won by the first participant who achieves a verified hole-in-one during the Event. 6.5. In the unlikely event of multiple hole-in-ones on the same Event day (e.g., if a previous winner’s putt was not yet verified when another draw occurs), the jackpot will be awarded to the first verified winner. Subsequent winners will receive the reset jackpot amount (i.e., $250) or a prize of equivalent value at the discretion of management. 6.6. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other goods or services. 6.7. Winners must present valid photo identification to claim their prize. 6.8. The prize will be paid via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the winner’s nominated Australian bank account within 7 business days of verification, or by cheque, at the discretion of Chinderah Tavern. Cash payouts may be considered in exceptional circumstances, subject to management approval.
- General Conditions: 7.1. Chinderah Tavern reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and participants and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, engages in fraudulent activity, or breaches these terms and conditions. 7.2. All decisions made by Chinderah Tavern management regarding the Event, including the conduct of the draws and putt attempts, are final and no correspondence will be entered into. 7.3. Chinderah Tavern is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or human error that may occur during the Event. 7.4. Participants acknowledge that images and videos may be taken during the Event for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant Chinderah Tavern permission to use such media in their marketing and promotional materials. 7.5. Chinderah Tavern promotes responsible service of alcohol. Participants are encouraged to drink responsibly. Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to participate. 7.6. Chinderah Tavern collects personal information for the purpose of conducting this Event. All personal information will be handled in accordance with Chinderah Tavern’s Privacy Policy, which is available upon request or on our website. 7.7. To the extent permitted by law, Chinderah Tavern (including its officers, employees, and agents) is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever suffered or sustained (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) as a result of or in connection with this Event or the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law). 7.8. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
- Publicity: By participating in the Event, the winner agrees to allow their name and likeness to be used for publicity and promotional purposes by Chinderah Tavern without further compensation, including but not limited to publication on social media and in local media.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol: Chinderah Tavern is committed to the responsible service of alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated. Any participant deemed to be intoxicated will be ineligible to participate in the “PINT FOR A PUTT” challenge.
